Gypsy Knife Homemade Pizza Dough

Ingredient List:

  • 2½ lbs — Bread or Semolina Flour
  • 1/4 oz — Dry Instant Yeast
  • 24 oz — Water
  • 1/4 oz — Dean & Jacobs Garlic Seasoned Sea Salt
  • 2 oz — Grapeseed Oil

Instruction:

Make at least 24 hours ahead of usage!

Mix all dry ingredients together until thoroughly blended. SLOWLY incorporate the wet ingredients until an even ball of dough is created, you may not need all the water!

Refrigerate overnight.

Rest one hour at room temperature and punch down.

Dust hands in flour and portion dough to the size of crust that you desire, a five inch diameter ball makes a medium sized pizza.

Rest one hour at room temperature.

Roll out with love on a flour dusted board to the thickness desired.

A thicker crust takes longer to pre-cook for un-doughy interior.

For thin and crispy, cook immediately one minute on each side, add sauce and topping and cook until cheese is melted.
